from the Novice B class! Way to go! Now on to Open and Koda's Tracking Dog title!

Megan vom Royale CD, CGN, PCD Louise and Meg received their Canadian CD Title out of the Novice B Class
October 16th at the London Canine Association, Inc. Dog Show held in Tillsonburg, Ont.
Out of 4 Trials Meg placed one 2nd and three 1st and achieved High Scoring GSD on both days!
We are thrilled with Louise and Meg's new CD Title at only 17th months of age!!

Ritter von Royale CD, CGN Gale and Ritter received their Canadian CD Title out of the Novice A Class
October 16th at the London Canine Association, Inc. in Tillsonburg, Ont.
Out of 4 Trials they placed 2nd in each Trial winning a runoff for 2nd in two of the Trials.
This is Gale's 1st Obedience Dog and with Ritter being only 17 months old!! We are so proud of you both!

Fero excelled with his bite work standing up to the work ethic desired for the working class!

Michigan American Pit Bull Terrier Club show was held February 26 & 27th in Whitmore Lake.

Our Ohio Buckeye group made the trip from Ohio to finish Tucker vom Royale's Championship on Saturday with a Best of Breed and Group 2nd!

Indy vom Royale finished her Championship Sunday with "Best of Breed" and a Group 3rd!
This was Indy's first UKC show, finishing in one weekend with two Best of Breeds, Group 4th and 3rd!

UKC CH Tucker vom Royale & UKC CH Indy vom Royale are 9 month old littermates from Fero and Chica!
Watch for these two at shows this Spring!

UCI/IABCA Buckeye State Sieger Show was held January 29th and 30th in Dayton, Ohio

UKC Grand CH Genie vom Royale finished her UCI International Championship with four V-1 ratings
two times Class Winner & two Best Female wins!

Apache alerting outside of "hot" zone

Below is an email sent to Royale Shepherds from Suzie & Roy Ferguson from Tenn.
[Apache is a Jager/Macy male]

Hi guys, we are still here and working hard. We just got back from a SAR seminar in Eatonton, GA. Roy and I were putting on an HRD scenario class to operational handlers. Apache quickly became the demo dog. One dog went at him four times, and Apache maintained his composure and obeyed everything we said. Thus, the situation was diffused.

In one scenario, we had the handlers finding teeth [suicide scenario]; the handlers/dogs so messed up the area that we had to bring in Apache to help recover the teeth. He was so cute with his nose on the ground and when he was convinced one was there he kept focused as we proceeded to sift through the dirt/leaves/pine needles. He was never wrong though we had our doubts. We had no issues with him -- a direct result of good breeding and raising!

Roy & Suzie Ferguson from Tennesse, Apache vom Royale's proud owners write the following... [Apache is a Jager/Macy breeding] Well Apache passed his area certification test and is now a Nationally Certified SAR dog. He can wear his badge proudly. He located the subject, alerted and took Roy back -- 9 minutes -- he had 45 minutes to accomplish the test. He was no less than awesome! He picked up a ground track and off he went then airscented her into her hiding place. Roy, his handler is excited about starting on his dual certification in human remains. With his nose, he is going to be great. He has his HABIT Evaluation at UT on the 27th, then we will get him going on his nursing home and school visits. He will also be doing hospital visits as Children's Hospital and specialty commands for rehab patients. The folks at UT have already seen him and been around him and are very excited to get him going in the program. They are in need of more big dogs like him. They are also wanting to use him in the bite prevention program. We will be sure to keep you updated on Apache's accomplishements!
